What adaptogens are — and what careful language looks like when discussing stress and resilience.
Adaptogen is a useful but frequently overextended word. In careful usage, it refers to botanicals traditionally and experimentally associated with helping the body navigate non-specific stress.
Ashwagandha is among the most discussed examples. Research has explored outcomes related to perceived stress and recovery — yet extract quality and study design matter enormously.
We prefer language like “studied for” and “research suggests” over absolute promises. Living well is multifactorial; a formula is one thoughtful input among many.
