Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Ayulogy (“Ayulogy,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you use ayulogy.org, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us. We operate as a wellness and nutraceutical brand based in India. For privacy questions, email hello@ayulogy.org.

2. Information we collect

• Contact form: name, email, message content, and optional locale/source metadata stored in our database so we can reply.
• Newsletter: email address (and optional labels such as signup source/locale) processed by Ghost CMS as a Member record.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) and, if enabled later, privacy-respecting analytics.
• Commerce (when shop launches): order, shipping, and payment details handled by our checkout provider (e.g. Razorpay / Shopify). Card data is processed by the payment processor — we do not store full card numbers on Ayulogy servers.

3. How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
• Send editorial / product updates you opt into (newsletter)
• Operate, secure, and improve the website
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, consumer law)
• Fulfil orders and manage returns when ecommerce is live

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal bases & Indian law

We process personal data for legitimate business purposes, to perform a contract (orders), with your consent (newsletter), or where required by law. We intend to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and applicable rules as they come into force, and with sector expectations for wellness/nutraceutical brands in India.

5. Processors & sharing

We may share data with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Hosting / CDN (e.g. Vercel)
• Database (MongoDB Atlas) for contact messages
• Ghost CMS for newsletter membership
• Email / DNS providers for hello@ayulogy.org
• Payment and fulfilment partners when the shop is enabled

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the service.

6. Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable business records. Newsletter memberships remain until you unsubscribe or we delete the Member. Order records (when applicable) are retained as required for tax and consumer law.

7. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any email
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by emailing hello@ayulogy.org
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

8. Security

We use industry-standard protections (HTTPS, access controls, least privilege on API keys). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong unique passwords on accounts that touch Ayulogy systems.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. Contact us if you believe we have done so.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes affecting newsletter or shop will be communicated where practicable.
